Casa Jade Hostel - Drake Bay

During my travels, I had the opportunity to stay at Casa Jade in Drake Bay, which proved to be a convenient accommodation option for my transit stay. The hostel is located just 8 km away from the nearest airport, making it incredibly easy to reach after a long day of travel. This proximity to the airport ensured that I could quickly settle in and have a comfortable night's rest before continuing my journey.

While Casa Jade had its conveniences, I must mention a minor drawback I experienced during my stay. The room I was allocated had fixed windows that couldn't be opened, and the window in the toilet only had a net with no easy way to close it.

This hotel had it all - comfortable cabins, well-stocked kitchen, and helpful staff. We had no trouble organizing tours and the staff made it seamless. But the real highlight was the very nice bird watching experience. Every night, hundreds of parrots flocked and roosted in the trees around the hotel. We even woke up to the sight of macaws and toucans in a tree right next to our cabin. And let's not forget the amazing sea view from our cabin. Definitely worth it!

Nothing to complain about at all.

The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the beach where the boats landed. The staff were really nice too make my stay comfortable, even picking me up in a pickup truck when I arrived. The room was simple but had everything I needed, including a big bed and a mosquito net. I also appreciated being able to leave my bag at the hotel while I was on a trip to Corcovado. Casa Jade exceeded my expectations and provided excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

The double room at Casa Jade was perfect for my low-budget travels. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower had hot water. The balcony was a nice touch and the air conditioning made the room comfortable. The private entrance gave us privacy.

I would have preferred if the room had sea views like some of the other rooms. But hey, it's just my personal preference!

We had an incredible time at this accommodation. the location was perfect, with stunning views of the bay and a garden full of beautiful birds. Our spacious bungalow had a balcony where we could enjoy breathtaking sunsets. the staff were friendly and helpful, even organizing tours for us. the well-stocked kitchen made cooking easy. We loved waking up to the sound of parrots and spotting toucans right outside our cabin.

The shared bathroom facilities were a bit dated, but still functional.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, situated at the top of a hill with breathtaking views of the bay. The bungalows were beautifully placed amidst a vibrant garden, enticing a variety of exotic birds. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering to pick me up from the beach. The spacious bungalow had a balcony overlooking the bay, which was perfect for witnessing jaw-dropping sunsets. The hotel's proximity to the beach and restaurants made it exceptionally convenient. Additionally, Henar, the staff member, went above and beyond to assist us with transportation and luggage storage. The shared kitchen provided fantastic ocean views. the value for money was exceptional, and the experience surpassed my expectations.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay at this wonderful hostel in Drake Bay.

The only thing that could make the food for breakfast better was having a wider variety of options.

We had a fantastic time at Casa Jade for our week-long stay. The cabins with ocean view balconies truly added an extra touch of relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to assist us, even helping to organize a last-minute Corcovado tour. The value for money was excellent, and the location was central yet peaceful. With comfortable rooms, daily cleaning, and a shared kitchen, it was everything we needed for a memorable vacation.

One thing I liked less about the room was that it did not have sea views. But hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

Incredible view and deck overlooking the bay, perfect for enjoying meals and relaxing. the room was clean and had everything I needed, including a fan. the housekeeping service was excellent. the lady at the reception was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. She even picked me up from the boat and helped me with tour arrangements.

The kitchen wasn't always clean due to other guests not properly cleaning up after themselves. this is not the fault of the hotel.
